PHOTOSHOOT
I’ll arrive bright and early to settle in quickly and say hello to everyone before I start shooting. I want to ensure that everyone (especially the children) are 100% comfortable and relaxed for the shoot ahead.
I believe children should be children. They should be allowed to run around in the sand and paddle in the sea. They should chase their siblings. They should laugh and giggle. My natural approach is perfect for capturing those unique and unscripted moments.
Throughout your photoshoot, I’ll be weaving in and out to ensure I catch every precious moment, including unseen moments. That quick kiss at the dinner table or tucking that loose strand of hair behind your ear. All the moments that make your heart flutter.
Our photoshoot together will be a relaxed experience for you. No cheesiness or fake forced poses here! If we are photographing your family, the shoot will mainly be child-led - this always allows for the calmest experience and sets the best pace for a photoshoot. There is never a right or wrong way to be in a photoshoot, so let your hair down and trust in me and my camera.

From stolen glances to cheeky kisses and running around at the beach or park, I'll be there to document your legacy (and all the fun parts). I'll even make sure to snap authentic moments that may have slipped by unnoticed - they're the best ones!
Whether you want me to inconspicuously lurk in the shadows, snapping candid shots or be right up the front, rounding everyone up for that big group once a year family photo, I'll be the chameleon you need on the day.
Either way, I'll be behind the lenses, not missing a beat.

Photo
Do you know what happens to your photographs after a photoshoot? Not many people do, don't worry!
Once home, I give my undivided attention to your photographs back at my desk, ensuring I do justice to your unique legacy that we have just photographed together.
I pour my heart and soul into recreating your photoshoot all over again - often, I get home and start this process straight away, super eager to see what we made together. I back up your images onto my hard drives and load them into my editing software on my computer.
I go through every image and choose the best ones from the shoot - often, I find it challenging to get rid of any! After this, I edit each photograph, carefully colour correcting, adjusting and tweaking the light.
I believe in natural and honest photography, so I will never digitally manipulate an image to be something it isn't, like you may see in a magazine. I keep my editing simple, similar to what you could do in a film processing dark room.
Why do I give your photos so much care and attention? So you'll have memories to cherish for years to come.
